Scanning a House
Here we scanned the interior of a house for remodeling purposes. This was a quick process, yielding 16 scans, over the course of approximately two hours. Note that the duration of the scanning process is entirely dependent on the degree of detail required by the scanning project. More time can be spent in those areas requiring more granular detail.
After scanning is complete, cross sections of the house can easily be output to depict the interior of the house and all the rooms.
Measurements and dimensions of components of the resultant model are easy to obtain, as shown here. Again, the fidelity and granularity of detail are entirely dependent on the requirements of the scanning project.
